The Troubadour Concert Series has some good news and some bad news.
First, the more immediate info. Tonight’s Indigo Girls concert, along with all of the week’s performances by the popular contemporary folk duo, has been cancelled.
From the Indigo Girls website: “This course of action is unavoidable and necessary due to a personal emergency. Indigo Girls want to express their thanks for understanding at this difficult time.” No other info specific to the cancellations was offered.
The website said that refunds were available at point of purchase. The Troubadour series website on Sunday mentioned it hoped for a possible rescheduled date for the concert. It also stated refund info would be posted later today.
Now the brighter news. The great Emmylou Harris has been confirmed for a 7 p.m. concert on Jan. 29 at the Opera House. Harris played there as recently as last March, although that was an abbreviated performance as part of two tapings of the WoodSongs Old-Time Radio Hour. This will be a full-length concert of her own.
Ticket info and on sale dates for Harris’ show have yet to be announced.
